macports selfupdate fails on Mac os lion — at Version 1

trying to use self update. neither it nor sync work.

I also just upgraded Xcode to 4.3.2. any ideas? What more info do you need?

Hmm, well it says "chdir failed"... does the location /opt/local/var/macports/sources/rsync.macports.org/release/tarballs exist?
