unable to build opencv under MacOS 10.6.8 — at Version 1

I am unable to build OpenCV. I have selfupdate and updated outdated. Log file attached.

[ mac macteki-MacBook-Pro ~ ] sudo port install opencv +python27

The log says:

If you're using the latest Xcode for Snow Leopard, you could file a bug report with Apple, but since they've already released Mountain Lion I doubt they're interested in fixing Snow Leopard bugs anymore. You could try using a different compiler.
