This is the error I get on Terminal on both of my laptops.

thanks a lot. It worked on my Mac OS X Lion with a little Gtk, Gdk and GdkPixbuf error repots during import process that I am going to report to graph-tool developer. I'll have to see if it also works on Mountain Lion.

Probably (incorrectly) uses LINKFORSHARED to grab Python’s linking flags, as described in #39223. It should be using pythonX.Y-config instead.
