Description

The scrollkeeper build process creates a file /opt/local/var/log/scrollkeeper.log because scrollkeeper-rebuilddb is run. It contains here:

Oct 09 01:20:58 scrollkeeper-rebuilddb: Rebuilding ScrollKeeper database...
Oct 09 01:20:58 scrollkeeper-rebuilddb: Done rebuilding ScrollKeeper database.

But this prevents scrollkeeper from being activated since this log file is in destroot; it contains here:

Oct 09 01:20:58 Installing ScrollKeeper 0.3.14...

scrollkeeper can now be activated. However I get:

--->  Activating scrollkeeper 0.3.14_2

It no longer works:

--->  Archive scrollkeeper-0.3.14_3.powerpc.tgz packaged
---> Archive for scrollkeeper 0.3.14_3 packaged
--->  Installing scrollkeeper 0.3.14_3
--->  Activating scrollkeeper 0.3.14_3
touch: /opt/local/var/log/scrollkeeper.log: No such file or directory
Error: Target com.apple.activate returned: shell command "touch /opt/local/var/log/scrollkeeper.log" returned error 1
Command output: touch: /opt/local/var/log/scrollkeeper.log: No such file or directory

The problem is that before the touch, the ${prefix}/var/log directory should be created. BTW, shouldn't the log files all be in /var/log?
