Would someone help to solve the installation problem I got when trying to install emacs.

As another point of information, this seems to be happening on Leopard (10.5.1 for me).
The whole compilation emits a lot of warnings about implicit pointer conversions that were not present in Tiger (10.4.xx), but nothing actually fails until the actual link attempt.
For what it's worth, the emacs binary built under 10.4 continues to work on 10.5.
