Description
The jpeg port doesn't seem to support the universal_archs configuration variable. I set universal_archs to "ppc ppc64 i386 x86_64" but when I do:
port install jpeg +universal
it only builds the i386 and ppc architectures.

Replying to jmr@macports.org:
If you're running MacPorts 1.6.0 as the version field indicates, it doesn't allow changing universal_archs.
I am running MacPorts 1.6.0. What versions of MacPorts support universal_archs? I saw no mention of a version requirement on http://guide.macports.org/

Changing universal_archs currently requires svn trunk. The lack of information about version differences in the guide is a genuine issue (discussion).
Assigning to maintainer. If you're running MacPorts 1.6.0 as the version field indicates, it doesn't allow changing universal_archs.
