BUG: gettext

Reported by: lambda@… Owned by: mij@…
Priority: Normal Milestone:
Component: ports Version: 1.0
Keywords: Cc:
Port:

Description

When I try to install gettext, or programs which depend on it, the build dies with the following error:

/bin/sh ../lib/csharpcomp.sh -O -g -o GNU.Gettext.dll ./intl.cs csc: invalid option `-n'

It seems that csharpcomp.sh is trying to call a C# compiler called csc. The problem is that I have a scheme compiler called csc (from <http://www.call-with-current-continuation.org/>) which is installed in /usr/local/bin, which appears before /opt/local/bin in my path. I would rather not delete, move, or rename my chicken scheme compiler. Is there any way the gettext build process could call the correct csc?

I assume this bug is gone, as port(1) currently comes along with its own PATH settings? (if still valid, please reopen)
