Description
The latest stable version of rdiff-backup is 0.12.8 (released 2005-04-07), but the Portfile still uses 0.12.7
One of the bugs fixed in 0.12.8 could cause data loss. From the changelog:
" Serious bug fix If a directory in the source directory was replaced by certain symlinks, then if later backups failed they could cause files in the directory that the symlink pointed to to be deleted! Much thanks to Alistair Popple for pointing this bug out and providing a test case."
I have confirmed that 0.12.8 builds without a problem using the existing Portfile, once the version and md5 values are updated.
