groff: destroot fails: install: img/pic*: No such file or directory

Hello, I couldn't upgrade from groff 1.20.1_1 to 1.21_2. So I uninstalled it and tried to install it again. The installation fails. Here is the error:

sudo port install groff
--->  Computing dependencies for groff
--->  Staging groff into destroot
Error: Target org.macports.destroot returned: shell command failed (see log for details)
Log for groff is at: /opt/local/var/macports/logs/_opt_local_var_macports_sources_rsync.macports.org_release_ports_sysutils_groff/groff/main.log

The error in the log is:

However, since this was not a clean build attempt, please "sudo port clean groff", then try again, then attach the new main.log so we can see what really happened.
