Component: ports Version: 2.1.2
Keywords: Cc: pvanek@…
Port: php-oracle

Description

Oracle just released a new version, 11.2.0.3.0, that might be 64-bit compatible in OSX. If so we should remove the supported_archs i386 in the oracle subport.

And, if it works, then all ports that depend on oracle-instantclient, not just php-oracle, should become 64-bit enabled again.

Just FYI... we are successfully (barely a smoke test but it does work) running a 64bit version of the MacPorts Apache2/PHP/Oracle stack using the attached patches to php and the instantclient's portfile. I also verified it with a 32bit environment too.
