This should have been fixed recently; try running sudo port selfupdate, then clean and try again.

Replying to egall@…:

This should have been fixed recently; try running sudo port selfupdate, then clean and try again.

The selfupdate said I was already up to date, but I continued with a clean --all vile and clean glib2, and it has now built successfully.

Thanks. This ticket can now be closed. Warren.

Summary: port upgrade outdated: glib2, Unable to upgrade port: 1glib2: build failure with automake 1.13.2

Probably the selfupdate said MacPorts base was up to date, and that it also updated your portfiles. MacPorts base changes infrequently; portfiles change constantly.

Duplicate of #39246.
