Port: | py-saga |
Description
This port provides the Python module SAGA-Python (http://saga-project.github.io/saga-python/)
I propose the shortened name py-saga
instead of py-saga-python
or py-SAGA-Python
(as the latter seem quite redundant and cumbersome), but I am open to any change to this.
This port has nothing in common with the portsaga @2.1.0 (gis)
. It is related to SAGA Project (http://www.saga-project.org/).

I fixed the description and used depends_build-append
instead of depends_build
to not overwrite the python portgroup build dependencies in r110939.

I am not a committer, so this still needs to be reviewed, but in the description you need to change the contraction "It's" to the possessive "Its", where the former means 'It is' and the latter means 'belonging to It.'
You are actually right. The whole sentence is somewhat odd. I think, I copied it from their web site without further changes. As this has now been committed I will provide an edited version with the next update.

There’s no need to wait until the next upstream update. Just submit a new patch.
