Description
I have tried to uninstall version 2.34 of gwyddion and install 2.30 but I have been receiving the following error message. I was recommended by Petr to post here to get assistance from Mac users. I am running on OS X Version 10.9.2. I have also updated macports, xquartz version 2.7.5.
Please help!

This error message from the attached log file indicates you didn't properly updated MacPorts after upgrading to OS X 10.9:
:info:extract sh: /usr/bin/gnutar: No such file or directory
Please have a look at mavericks problems and follow the migration instructions.

Okay thank you I think that worked to update MacPorts.
However, when I tried to install version 2.30 it automatically installed version 2.36 even though I did not download it. I used the commands:
sudo port self update sudo port install gwyddion
I have attached my main.log file again

Actually just kidding my main.log file does not appear to exist anymore... so the installation may not have been successful?
Please attach the main.log file so we can see why it failed.
