#46131 new defect

openjade fails in trace mode (transfer too large)

Reported by: Ionic (Mihai Moldovan) Owned by: macports-tickets@…
Priority: Normal Milestone:
Component: ports Version: 2.3.99
Keywords: tracemode Cc: neverpanic (Clemens Lang), Schamschula (Marius Schamschula), nerdling (Jeremy Lavergne)
Port: openjade

Description

openjade fails while configuring in trace mode:

--->  Configuring openjade
tracelib: transfer too large: 1667590243 bytes sent, but buffer holds 4095 on socket 20
darwintrace: fread: Broken pipe
sh: line 1: 18691 Abort trap: 6           ./configure --prefix=/opt/local --enable-http --enable-html --enable-mif --disable-dependency-tracking --enable-default-catalog=/opt/local/share/sgml/catalog --datadir=/opt/local/share/sgml/openjade --mandir=/opt/local/share/man

(Not adding maintainer, as it doesn't look like the port is messing up by itself.)

neverpanic/cal:

all I could come up with was that /bin/ksh must have a buffer overflow *somewhere*

Also ran into this rebuilding packages for 10.7 (port -Ntuv build openjade build.jobs=1).
