the configure-phase dies:
checking for com line lock directory... configure: error: No suitable lock directory Error: Target com.apple.configure returned: configure failure: shell command "cd /Users/fkr/ develope/opendarwin/darwinports/dports/comms/minicom/work/minicom-2.1 && ./configure -- prefix=/opt/local" returned error 1 Command output: checking posix1_lim.h presence... no Warning: the following items did not execute (for minicom): com.apple.install com.apple.configure com.apple.build

[wmalik:dports/comms/minicom] waqar% port build ---> Fetching minicom ---> Verifying checksum for minicom ---> Extracting minicom ---> Configuring minicom ---> Building minicom with target all [wmalik:dports/comms/minicom] waqar%
This is what I get, I have the latest source from the repository.

Darwin doesn't appear to have a uucp lock directory, hence the failure (on my Mac as well). Perhaps with "--enable-lock-dir=${prefix}/var" added to the configure args?

with --enable-lock-dir=${prefix}/var it works like a charm :)
