I'm attaching an updated version of the RPM port that adds a number of new features:
- python support: rpm now builds the python modules
- architecture updates: there is now a "fat" architecture that can be
set in BuildArch: in the spec file. It sets the defaults CFLAGS to be
"-O2 -arch ppc -arch i386", and these packages are allowed to be installed
on both i386 and ppc architectures (on systems where this RPM is built :)
- provides/requires support: RPMs will now automatically have library provides
and requires added to the package, so any library that is linked against is
automatically depended upon by the RPM.
