Have you tested this port with the gcc3.3 update for Jaguar? That's my first thought, at least. Unfortunately I don't currently have a jaguar box to test on, on 10.3, I'm getting the following error:
if g++ -DPACKAGE_NAME=\"Crimson\ Fields\" -DPACKAGE_TARNAME=\"crimson\" -DPACKAGE_VERSION=\"0.3.7\" -DPACKAGE_STRING=\"Crimson\ Fields\ 0.3.7\" -DPACKAGE_BUGREPORT=\"jensgr@…\" -DPACKAGE=\"crimson\" -DVERSION=\"0.3.7\" -DDISABLE_SOUND=1 -DHAVE_LIBZ=1 -DHAVE_DIRENT_H=1 -DHAVE_STRCASECMP=1 -DHAVE_STRNCASECMP=1 -DCF_DATADIR=\"/opt/local/share/crimson/\" -I. -I../../src/common -I/opt/local/include -g -O2 -I/opt/local/include/SDL -I/opt/local/include -D_THREAD_SAFE -MT initwindow.o -MD -MP -MF ".deps/initwindow.Tpo" \

No gcc3.3 here yet, still on 3.1. Wait a few days, and I'll test with gcc3.3 and 10.3...
