I tried to install zpaq but got the following error: Also attach the log in error.
Error: Failed to activate zpaq: Image error: /opt/local/bin/zpaq already exists and does not belong to a registered port. Unable to activate port zpaq. Use'port -f activate zpaq' to force the activation. Error: See /opt/local/var/macports/logs/_opt_local_var_macports_sources_rsync.macports.org_macports_release_tarballs_ports_archivers_zpaq/zpaq/main.log for details. I intended to delete the file that I had previously "make install", but it remained. It was my simple mistake. A sincere apology.

Where did your /opt/local/bin/zpaq come from? MacPorts is telling you it did not put it there.
You can force the activation as suggested in the message to rename your /opt/local/bin/zpaq (and potentially other associated files).
