Thank you for the idea. Wefe is my ISP. I was able to bypass them and update all the ports by connecting to internet through a VPN first and then running sudo port selfupdate
and then sudo port upgrade outdated
. Please consider this thread closed.

I can't reproduce this downloading from the same server that you got the file from. What is in the HTML file that you got?
