BUG: ghc-devel-6.5 won't build

Description
Initially it failed due to being unable to apply a one line patch. I commented out the line
patchfiles-append patch-GC.c
from the Portfile.
This allows the build to proceed. Unfotunately it fails with:
/usr/bin/ld: Undefined symbols: _rl_filename_completion_function
This symbol is present in the readline.h in /opt/local/include/readline.

ghc-devel now builds 6.7. It seems to build correctly, at least when the development tree is in a buildable state.

Hi James,
Looks like the GC patch has finally made it into the tree.
I'll have to look into the readline error. I got a note from Simon M. saying that one of the bugs I reported about the readline library had been fixed; it looks like I have to supply a new configure option. Might take a day or two.
Best Wishes, Greg
