Description
Although firefox-x11 installs XPCOM headers, pkg-config files, and libraries, it does so in a broken manner, looking for them in @executable-path, whatever that is.
This is known to have negative impacts on the liferea and epiphany ports and possibly on other ports as well.

This is partially solved, see the yelp port for implementation details. I am calling this a low priority, since there are workarounds.

It seems to me that the GNOME ports that depend on Gecko (supplied by firefox-x11) for html rendering will most likely be migrated to Webkit, which enjoys active support in the X11 rendering space from Apple, unlike Firefox, which is only supported on Mac OS X in Aqua by Mozilla, that I am not concerned by this.
