Description
The gnome-vfs port, which is depended on by quite a few other mission critical Gnome-related ports, fails to buil on the Intel hardware architecture under Mac OS X 10.4.6 (on a Mac Mini Duo Core Intel box).
Randall Wood requested that I do the following (which I did, and the terminal output of which I will upload as part of this bug report):
sudo port -f uninstall neon sudo port clean --all neon sudo port install kerberos5 sudo port install neon sudo port clean --all gnome-vfs sudo port -dv install gnome-vfs
and report what happens.

I have just committed an upgrade to gnome-vfs into CVS. Once the CVS-to-rsync checkout happens, please test. New version is 2.15.2.

gnome-vfs is now at version 2.16.0
I have been working with the upstream manitainers to try to eliminate this problem (as have the Fink maintainers). I hope we have it licked.
If problems persist with that version of gnome-vfs please open a new ticket.
